The aim of this course is to enhance practical skills to successfully weld a compliant 6G 6�(150NB) pipe weld using the SMAW process. This is achieved through experienced trainers providing the necessary training and coaching to the candidates.

Previous SMAW welding experience is a pre-requisite for this course.

Course Content
This training focuses on developing the necessary practical skills to achieve a compliant 6G weld. Classroom time is minimised and covers only the essentials of welding safety and technical requirements for this task.

Experienced trainers are continuously available to provide assistance and coaching to enhance the skill level of candidates.

We teach welding to approved British, European and International Standards and offer ‘test-day��?only days for welders who only require approval/re-approval, ‘half-day��?tutorials for the DIY or semi-professional enthusiast right up to full time fixed period modular training from 1 to 6 weeks. Although essentially practical, training modules can contain, at the discretion of the client, a theoretical content with full printed notes.
